Remote Code Execution Vulnerability (RCE) in Popular Java Library – CVE-2021-44228

On 9 December 2021, a vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228) in the popular Java library Log4j was published.

A proof of concept (PoC) was also published.The vulnerability allows an attacker to remotely execute arbitrary code.
